I'm so in over my head...

Hello to you all in internet land!

I'm a busy bee this horrible month of March. I'm finishing up my quarter at art school, I have papers to write, readings to do, a portfolio to put together. On top of that, I was just hired on at a new job that wants me to work 4 days a week (two days of school that gives me one day off to do anything). And on top of all that I have a freelance illustration job that's nippin' at my haunches to get it done NOW!!! *sigh* I hate being this chaotic.

Once April comes around, I'll feel a lot better.

Yeah...Art Institute of Seattle. Do you also attend an AI school? I loved the dragon sketch...you can really sense the volume and mass of the creature. I also like how you drew his legs...very cute! : )

If you're going to an Art Institute...they don't require anything but money. For other schools such as Cal Arts, they won't accept you unless you've got some major potential. If your goal is animation, fill your portfolio with drawings from life, sketches showing movement, depth, understanding of anatomy and some personality.
